Tribute!

I have only been at this for a week. Before photography I did photo manipulation of other peoples work. Now that I am doing the the photography I get a sense of what goes into the work. The planning (of which I don't do much) and the passion. I am still learning the basics but I am progressing quickly. I have a great teacher/collaborator to learn from everyday. James Amundson (www.jamesamundsonimages.ca) is a phenomenal photographer in my books and he is by the book too.
At the rate that I am progressing I hope to be doing some fairly half professional stuff with-in the year. I have many ideas and will be working toward making them a reality. My goal is to take photo manipulation from the shutter release to the portfolio!
Until then please enjoy the photostory of my learning curve...

Posted below is an example of my photo manipulation skillz. Two photos were used and they were both taken by the aforementioned James A. It is a commentary on nature vs man. I called it "Park-ing the Bridge" Only incredible photos can be used to pull off such an image...thanks Jim for your guidance and patience!
